Module 05

Nonverbals

Long before we say a word, our physical presence is already communicating. Posture, facial expressions, and subtle body language offer continuous cues about how we feel and how we relate to others. Developing an awareness of these nonverbal signals helps us better understand the people around us while ensuring we project calm and respect:

  1. 5.1

    Beginner Nonverbals

You cannot detect a shift in body language without first understanding the norm. You will cultivate sensory Awareness across the entire body (from feet to face), master the mechanics of confident first Impressions, and learn to establish baseline behaviors to spot tell-tale Anomalies.

  2. 5.2

    Intermediate Nonverbals

You will learn to decode the physical manifestations of the three primary workplace emotions: distinguishing genuine Happiness (Duchenne markers) from professional politeness, spotting the subtle "turtling" signs of Sadness or low morale, and recognizing the early physical warnings of rising Anger.

  3. 5.3

    Advanced Nonverbals

In high-pressure interactions, signals become guarded. You will learn to differentiate physical from emotional Discomfort, objectively evaluate cues often mistaken for Deception, and spot the micro-signals of Rejection in real time during a pitch so you can pivot before losing the room.
